Even on those platforms that are native to "SolidWorks", not everyone knows about the existence of the so-called "SolidWorks Connected". In short, it's just a full-fledged "SolidWorks", but with a distribution system through an inexpensive subscription with a "for makers" option for the personal needs of enthusiasts. If you do something in "SolidWorks Connected", you can still save everything on your computer, and the format of this saving will be the same as in the full-fledged enterprise version. So, for me, this option is literally a no-brainer. But like the full-fledged "SolidWorks", "SolidWorks Connected" is not available on "MacOS". And in such moments, "Parallels" really saves.
But in the case of "SolidWorks Connected", unfortunately, the installation process in "Parallels" is full of uncertainty. And some people just eventually give up and search for any alternatives.
One of the users on the official "Parallels" forum shared how he got "SolidWorks Connected" to work on his "Apple Silicon" system. And his post helped me a lot, so I decided to write this short article with the steps to take in case the original post disappears somewhere.

I am a big fan of "natural-like digital drawing" idea when we are trying to emulate real drawing media workflow with digital tools instead of just do imitate this drawing media look with assortment of brush shapes.
The main idea of this project was to emulate the process of drawing wi`th a charcoal pencil as closely as possible with the usage of the Krita software. As well as explain the brush creation process in "Krita" without abstract examples and with the particular goal. For sure, I still do not know a lot about brush engines in "Krita" but I hope this article will get in use by people who are only trying to figure it out from scratch by themselves... like I did.
And here is the sneak peek of the result.
If you want details, as well as to download the latest version of the bundle, open the full version of the article.

Aside from my past experience with FDM 3D printing, which was more of a pain than a pleasure, since i bought "Prusa Mini +", those emotions have changed dramatically. I finally see great example of FDM 3D printer that prints good out of the box, and the option to buy it as a "kit" format and assemble it piece by piece gives a complete understanding of the design and removes the fear of modifying this design. So... what I am doing. This article will be the list of my mods for "Prusa Mini +".

In this article I want to tell you about one of the advance media stacks to watch video on your PC.
In this build I'm trying to avoid all unnecessary data processing hops to increase processing speed and reduce latencies and it will help to bring media content on your screen as closer to the original as it's possible with less compressing, transformations, corrections... etc. Basic idea here if you do not know for what it is better turn it off. Also this guide will help you to dive into ocean of high quality video playback with all this acronyms and preferences which we are usually prefer to do not touch and to use VLC Player instead... lol.
This is just one of the examples and it doesn't claim to be perfect or only one right. This is just a base for you. Most of this options are very subjective because everybody have their personal preferences, but anyway some points are very preferable to be turned on or turned off, so let's go through my setup and I will try to explain as much as I can and as much as I know by myself. But I need to warn you that like for most such setups something can go wrong on different OS or hardware so you and only you responsible for your actions.
So let's start!

Long story short. In both types of 3D printing time to time you need some tool assistance to peel off a part from the building surface. And it is painful to watch how users are using sharp cheap scraper that usually comes with the 3D printer. It is easy to scratch built surface, easy to damage part and so easy to cut yourself accidentally.
But I found great alternative and make it even greater.

Somer time ago I mentioned there that I want to create my unique design of machine for recycling PET bottles in to 3D printing filament. There are plenty designs from other enthusiasts available online. However I want to create most compact and simple one.
And long story short I have a success in it. The article will be updated with the project progress.
